Mad 'DOG' Disease

"Is there any rule that both the Karnataka and Kerala chief ministers should go together to his home? If not for Sandeep's house, not even a dog would have gone there."

These are the comments from a senior politician, in fact the CM of Kerela, V.S. Achuthanandan, being angered by getting a cold shoulder from the father of the shaheed ( martyr)......This is how the politic an class behaves when they snubbed. A lot of Patience is expected of man, even if he is subjected to any kind of behaviour from a man who has just lost his only child.....wish you had not made this comment & instead ran after this father & hugged him & said that you are really sorry for his loss.

I wish to see this man removed from his post by his party, a party known as a party that has long fought & fought hard for the common man, the labour class, the working citizen..........and then i wish to see which dog sees your way........it would be not you but a common man who will have the last laugh.........

JAI HIND!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Abhi, I think we need statesmen and not politicians..the word politician by itself has started to have a pejorative connotation thanks to the misdeeds of the people behind this word..

Leaders like Patel, firebrand men like Scindia are no more, I wonder why theses people of repute have never made to premier positions, I am sure we as a country would have a different face if people like them were representing the country.

Our leaders are lacking in every respect, and love the power that comes with the position.Power is seductive and its difficult to get over it. These leaders are unable to remember who elected them, and that they are answerable to the country and people.

I have nothing much to say because they travel with security like they are heritage monuments and a slight scratch will mar them forever. Additionally, democracy has taken a new meaning where we have an elected premiere but the defacto ruler is someone else. In a country of a billion people we could not elect a decent leader????

So I think we the taxpayers should make informed decisions, whatever they may be, but informed decion making is key..

Literacy and awareness are golden rules of thumb, we should be aware and be critical of agencies like media, and consume information only after examining it analytically and critically.

Finally, all of us should vote, and vote after much thinking!!

Its true the need of the hour are statesmen not politicians..........in toady's Yahoo-India edition there is an article about Ratan Tata with a writeup stating how the Tata family has it's threads in the history of India & how they are also suffering in the present day India. It goes on to compare him to the Obama family of the US............wish Rata Tata could be the PM of India for a few years.............that would surely change atleast a few things........
