Our Soldiers don't want 3 Crores.........

Another SMS that is doing rounds and is being circulated by Indians who will surely forget the sacrifices of the men who laid down their lives fighting the terrorists that brought Mumbai to its knees:

" An Olympic shooter wins Gold ( only a game ) & the Government gives him 3 crores + awards.

Another shooter dies fighting with terrorists, ( saving our country and our lives) & Government pays his family 5 Lacs. Truly Great India?!?
( Please forward this to all Indians, that it reaches the President, PM, CM's, IAS & all concerned)....think which is important...ashamed of our politicians......."

I also received the same SMS from another newly concerned Indian, who has suddenly become a politically aware being............My answer to him( i have already replied back to him via SMS)

"Dear Friend thank you for your concern, but please don't spoil the ordinary solider..they don't want money & neither do they die to get it........they are trained to fight & they are just doing their job...pray for their families & them JAI HIND"

My request to all is that please don't over hype them as you do with your politicians, your cricketers & your young achievers, your talent show contestants......they are merely doing their job & if all of us also do our jobs with sincerity & commitment, we can make a NEW INDIA......an INDIA free of classes, castes, politics, corruption & all evils that plague our urban & rural INDIA..........

If you wish to do anything for the soldier please pray for his family & wish that god gives them enough strength to bear their loss, because we shall surely forget & when we do that they are the ones( the family) that shall be left alone, without anyone to hear them out..............

Mad 'DOG' Disease

"Is there any rule that both the Karnataka and Kerala chief ministers should go together to his home? If not for Sandeep's house, not even a dog would have gone there."

These are the comments from a senior politician, in fact the CM of Kerela, V.S. Achuthanandan, being angered by getting a cold shoulder from the father of the shaheed ( martyr)......This is how the politic an class behaves when they snubbed. A lot of Patience is expected of man, even if he is subjected to any kind of behaviour from a man who has just lost his only child.....wish you had not made this comment & instead ran after this father & hugged him & said that you are really sorry for his loss.

I wish to see this man removed from his post by his party, a party known as a party that has long fought & fought hard for the common man, the labour class, the working citizen..........and then i wish to see which dog sees your way........it would be not you but a common man who will have the last laugh.........

JAI HIND!!!!!!!!!!!

WE SHALL SURELY FORGET

Everyone silently said their prayers for the dead....now we have been shouting slogans against politicians for inaction in public....a first for Indians, who tolerated this class silently for years........i am hurt, moved, traumatised by the deaths...the number is not important....even a single human life lost to terror strikes, human tragedy, natural disasters can & should never be forgotten.....i am an optimist...but i don't see light at the end of this dark night too...i am sorry to say that...but i write what i fear...........WE SHALL SURELY FORGET..........

JAI HIND!!!!!!

KISSA KUSRI KA...........

Terror struck....Terror did its Tandaav (Dance of death)...Terror died its own death.....but the fallout....heads started rolling....the 1st political victim was the Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil. He had already been criticised for inaction during the previous terror strikes & for changing his outfit 3 times in less than 6 hours during his rounds of formality to a terror struck area.

The second victim on politics was the state Home minister R.R Patil. He created a controversy by calling the recent terror attacks on Mumbai as a small incident in a big city.....i was reminded of SRK's dialogue in DDLJ ...." Aise badde badde deshon mein aise chotti chotti baatein toh hoti hai Senorita"( Such small things happen in big countries).........must i remind you Mr. Patil...yeh desh to bahut bada hai...pur yeh baat chotti nahin........(this country is big alright, but the attack was not a small isolated, stray incident)...

After he went came the turn of musical chairs, but this time the rules or circumstances had changed......the chair or roses had suddenly become a chair of thorns.......no one wanted to occupy it.....an ex-home minister even refused to again become home minister.....can we think of a politician refusing a post a ministry........times surely have changed.....my mom is right KAALYUG aa gaya hai(DOOMSDAY is here)........

The Best in BEST

India finally breathing a sigh of relief after the 3 day Bombay or Mumbai fiasco ended.....(or has it just begun)..but the anger is still there. The common man on the street & the super rich in their boardrooms cannot stop discussing the terror that struck our financial capital on 26th November & continued for almost 60 hours.

A lot of things have come out of it........you may think that i am being rude or disoriented...but the cellular companies & telecom connectors made a lot of moolah out of this........like many of you, i too was getting a lot of SMSes on the terror strikes, some being resigning in nature, some patriotic, some against a particular individual of shallow affluence who had Mumbai halted for a few days.....but it was the companies that went laughing all the way to the bank........

One such SMS hit me & it hit me very hard....bcoz it rallied around my own thoughts, my own anguish.........

"What a shame & disgrace for every citizen of India that the elite NSG force was transported into ordinary BEST buses, whereas our cricketers are transported in state of the art luxury buses. These jawans lay down their lives to protect every Indian and these cricketers get paid even if they lose a match. We worship these cricketers and forget the martyrdom of these brave jawans. These jawans should be paid the salaries of cricketers & the cricketers should be paid the salaries of jawans. Shame on our Govt."

Though this is just an SMS created by an observant fellow or by some company to rake in the moolah, but almost all the words said are true. It is not about the buses, but about the common frame of mind of the people of India, who hopefully have realised that they go overboard with their love, respect & worship of these god like figures. Maybe this SMS was created out of that shame.

I agree with the thing that BEST buses should not have been used, but i don't support usage of luxury buses. Our forces are used to hardship & cold shouldering during times of peace. Please don't spoil them by giving them luxury buses. The American government pays a lot to countries like India to acclimatize their marines & forces to harsh & humid conditions like Rajasthan or marshy & moist conditions like those present all across NE India, so that their troops can become battle worthy in places like Afghanistan & Iraq.

The usage of Army or Navy buses would have been better, because almost 80-90 % of NSG is army regulars.

JAI HIND!!!!!
